In the Coventry area alone there is a population of just over 300,000 with a working age population of nearly 215,000 or 71.4 percent. A large and varied cross-section of skills within the area offers a number of flexible employment opportunities.
Nearly 70 percent of householders are owner-occupiers, helping to create a strong work ethic. With good public transport links, and almost 67 percent of households owning at least one car, a large catchment area of labour is available. The workforce can be further extended to include the major conurbation of Birmingham and towns and cities in the East Midlands, both of these additional areas provide a high percentage of distribution staff.
